Port Dickson-Malacca Short Trip

We take a short trip to Port Dickson and Malacca as Ken needs to deliver something back to his grandpa house in Port Dickson yesterday.

One of the rest house along the beach
We drive to Malacca using old road. Thus, we able to stop by Port Dickson, not exactly Port Dickson beaches but more of the rest houses of companies to sight seeing. Ezel is happy to see the ocean as she seldom get chances like this. She run along the beach happily even it is very sunny.
Ezel sitting on a rock

After spending some times there, we move on to Malacca. We go to the famous tourist spots such as the Porta de Santiago (also known as Fort A Famosa), Malacca river and nearby streets which mostly tourists visit spots. We are not used to the long distance of walking and we stop and rest for many times.

Ezel nagging to carry as she is tired
Then, we decided to go back to our car which is parked quite far away. Unfortunately, the sky looks like it is going to rain soon. We tried to walk quickly as possible but we are so tired that we stopped few rounds. Then, the rain pour down heavily and we have no choice to stay at the shop walkway to keep away from rain.
Waiting at the shop walkway due to rain

We end up having dinner at the corner noodle shop on the walkway we wait for the rain to stop. After the rain has stopped, we walk to our car and head to highway to come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn - Chapters

It is already past 1.30AM but I still cannot keep my eyes shut to rest. My mind just too active. Since I cannot sleep, I decided to read the Chapter 2 of Breaking Dawn.

As mentioned earlier, I knew from the synopsis that Breaking Dawn is touching about sex between Bella and Edward. Thus, I been patiently reading chapters by chapters which talks about the wedding preparation till finally Chapter 5 - Isle Esme. By that time, my eyes really sleepy and going to shut down but since I know that this chapter will talks about their honeymoon, I keeps myself to read it.

After finished the chapter, I am quite disappointing as Stephanie Meyer did not write about the process of making love like other romantic novel I used to read. She just talks the after mate moments and how Edward being angry to himself. I could not believe and keeps reading the next chapter, Chapter 6 - Distraction even my eyes and mind really exhausted now. Still, I been disappointing as Stephanie did not write the process of it but rather the after mate moments. I been wondering if Breaking Dawn is to be film, will they special include the missing part? I really wonder hard.

Twilight Saga : New Moon Movie Conquered

Finally, I watched the Twilight Saga : New Moon movie.

I am a bit upset actually as some of the scenes shown in the trailers seem been missing from the movie. I am sure my eyes are glued to the screen unless those scenes has been taken out and only make for promotional gimmick. Another issue get me upset is that all the kissing scenes has been removed due to Malaysia's so called rating. What a waste. I am not satisfying on the movie. Perhaps it is due to the removal scenes or perhaps I been expecting too much.

Anyhow, I will confirm the above again when this movie is able to download from Internet. I never get sick to watch the movie again and again. It is good to have it as collection as well.

The movie is very similar to the novel but only some of the parts/chapters has been removed or altered. I think that is because the movie has limited time to be air, thus some of the parts/chapters had to be ignored/altered.

Previously, I been hearing and reading the interview on the wolf pack actors whereby they said they have to be trained to have muscled body. Indeed they have the muscles but the actors are not so stand out. Only a few scenes of them and I do not get enough of them. Just like they pass through the movie. I think and hope to see them more in Eclipse movie since the story is about alliance between the vampires and werewolves. Else, I would feel like their efforts are wasted.

Eclipse Novel Concluded; Starting Breaking Dawn Novel

It is past 12AM when I finished the last chapter of Eclipse.

I keep reflecting back to New Moon as the movie is on promotion and been getting news updates about New Moon as well. It sometimes did bother me as well confused myself between New Moon and Eclipse.

As I knew from the synopsis that Breaking Dawn is touching about sex between Bella and Edward, I started Breaking Dawn right after the last chapter of Eclipse novel. But I am too sleepy to read on. Although sleepiness is taking over me, I still managed to sew up to first chapters of Breaking Dawn.

Ezel Third Birthday at Genting Highlands!

We decided to celebrate Ezel third birthday in Genting Highlands since Ken and Ezel are now in Slim River.

When we reach Resort Hotel, it is nearly 3PM and luckily it take only few minutes to check-in. We settled down and unpacked. I tried to get Ezel to sleep but she refused. Then, Ken and I decided to give her her birthday present which is a box a Cadbury Eclairs chocolate. Since I wrapped it nicely with a wrapping paper, she is so anxious to know what it is when trying to open the wrapping paper.

Finally, she got it open and she is so happy when she recognize it is a box of chocolate. Actually, Ken and I are out of idea what to buy for her as she is still small. As Ken been complaining that she always ask him to go to a Chinese traditional multipurpose store to buy chocolate, we decided to buy her a box so that she would not ask go to there anymore.

Since Ezel do not want to sleep, I bath her and put on a nice dress and hair do for her. We decided to dine in at Coffee Terrance but by the time we go to the restaurant, it is not yet open for dinner. So we walk out to Genting Hotel front entrance as Ken needs to take a smoke.

Coincidentally, there is a train stop at the Genting Hotel front entrance and Ezel wants to ride on it. At first, I says that we only take photos on it and she agreed. However, later Ken decided to give her to ride on it since it is her birthday and we also need to wait for the restaurant to open for dinner. It is costly at RM5 per person! We take a ride around Genting Highlands on the train. It is not time yet when we departed the train. Thus, we linger for a while at Genting Hotel and take some photos of Ezel with the Christmas decoration as well as the signature decoration of Genting Hotel lobby, the elephant.

We go into Coffee Terrance and since it is just open, there are still many of foods around including the cheese cakes which usually do not refill anymore after it is finish. I quickly grab few pieces to make up a small square so that it looks like a cake for Ezel. After half an hour into eating, Ezel keeps asking if she could eat the cake.

I bring out the candles that I bought earlier and put on three (3) candles onto the cakes. I lit the candles and sing her birthday song. She is so happy and keeps smiling seeing the candles in front of her. I ask her to blow the candles after I finished the birthday song. But her breath is so small that she could not blow and I have to help her. After taken out the candles and she begin to take the cakes, she keeps nagging for another round of candles blowing. In the end, she blows out three (3) times!

Twilight Sage New Moon Premiere in US

Aaarrggghhhh! It is so frusturating!

Today is Twilight Saga New Moon premiere in US but not in Malaysia! I been hoping to see the movie being launch on the same day in Malaysia but it looks like my prediction is true. As per Golden Screeen Cinema (GSC) website, Malayisa is slower by one (1) week whereby they going to premiere the movie on 27 November 2009 and still subject to change! One (1) week after the US premiere!

I wonder what is my suspension when the movie is finally release in Malaysia since everyone in other part of the world is talking and reviewing New Moon and yet me in Malaysia just manage to read the review. Some fans even managed to watch the movie for the second or many more times but me.....not even booking the ticket in the cinema!

New Moon Novel Concluded; Starting Eclipse Novel

It is past 1AM when I finished the last chapter of New Moon novel titled "Epilogue : Treaty". I do not really like this chapter as I felt Bella very selfish whereby he wants both Edward and Jacob. It is very well-known issue that both of them (Edward as vampire and Jacob as werewolf) can never be together but yet Bella would like to have them both at the same time. I really felt that she is so selfish and keeps pushing Jacob to the extreme by using his promise.

I been there myself once; in Bella situation and the urge of selfishness of having two things at once when it never possible. In the end, we have to lose one to gain another else you will lose both. But in Bella situation, Edward will never leave her again making Bella indirectly no need to make any choice or decision. Due to that, she keeps pushing Jacob back to the used-to-have relationship. I have my pity and sympathy on Jacob as he have to bear the vulverable feeling towards Bella. I would feel that Jacob feels Bella is so near yet so far for him to hold or catch. Pity him.....

If you ask me to review this novel, it is more touching and feeling than the first book, Twilight especially in chapter three, "The End". Chapters in New Moon illustrates how Bella suffering after Edward leave her alone in Forks and how Bella is connected and almost felt in love with Jacob. It is very detailed that sometime I felt that I am inside or just beside the characters. As usual, I would smile if I found something sweet with the conversations between the characters.

As I am too spoilted by the trailer and sneak peek of New Moon movie, my mind keeps bring back and compare the chapters I am reading with the soon to be in cinema, New Moon movie. Sometimes I asks myself when or which chapter it is for that scene in New Moon movie. Then, I started to realize that like Twilight, New Moon will have some differences between the movie and the novel. Well, that is actually expected as the director cannot put every chapters and the whole novel of 563 pages into a two hours and fifteen minutes movie! If Chris Weitz going to do that, I am not sure how long New Moon movie runtime would be.

Anyhow, the last paragraph of New Moon novel do not conclude much and I felt like hanging. Luckily I know that there is the next novel, Eclipse to continue the story. Else, I am not sure how I want to satisfy by urge.

This time I really want to finish Eclipse novel before anything related to Eclipse movie release so that I do not have any images, scenes and doubts in my mind when reading it. Synopsis would not harm much, thought. :P

Eclipse, here I come to defeat you!

November 2009 Finally Arrive!

Gosh! Finally November is here!

Why I am so excited about it? It is because of three (3) things below :
1) Ken's birthday on 18 November
2) Ezel's third birthday on 26 November
3) Twilight Saga : New Moon premiere on 20 November (not sure about Malaysia actual screening date yet)

In dedication to Twilight Saga : New Moon premiere and addication to it, I  decided to make my own desktop calendar using New Moon poster. I usually make my own desktop calendar theme using Snoopy character because I like Snoopy. Secondly, I am unable to find much the design I really wanted. Thus, I created and design my own.

However, this month, November, I decided to change a bit. Instead of using Snoopy, I uses New Moon poster! Here is the outcome and feel free to download if you want. Sharing is caring.....

Twilight Saga New Moon : Chapter 3 - The End

Yesterday night or this morning (yeah.....it is past 12 midnight), I finished New Moon novel chapter three titled "The End". After I finished the chapter, I felt myself in Bella's situation - not able to think properly and not sure what is going on surround her. I feel like crying thinking that Edward is leaving her just like that!

I felt the pain she suffered when Edward inform her that he is leaving her like he never existed. That kind of painfulness like your heart being needled by thousand of needles and you feel nothing about your arms and legs. Again, I think Stephanie Meyer did a very good job in describing the situation and the feeling. Or it is because I am been in the position before which makes me have the same feeling? Or it is because I watched the trailer before which enable me to virtualize more? I am really not sure about that. All I know that I am really feeling the pain that Bella felt and almost cried out.

Then, I flip thru the next chapter like usual to read the first paragraph before closing the book and go to bed. Somehow, I only managed to flip thru four (4) pages of months written on each of the pages meaning four (4) months has passed since Edward leaving Bella behind. That is very insteresting way to potray the timeline and I never come across in other novels. This is very new and creative! Good job, Stephanie!

But I did not manage to read chapter four. I am too tried and I need sometime to digest the chapter three. The feeling will not gone just like flipping the four (4) pages away. It is still in my head.

Nevertheless, I will continue chapter four tonight.

Twilight Novel Concluded; Starting New Moon Novel

Yesterday night, or rather this morning as it is already past 12 midnight when I finished the last chapter of Twilight novel. I am so excited that I finally finished the novel after a week of chasing the chapters.

Well, if you ask me to review this novel, it is actually more detailed compare to the movie. Most of the questions that plays in my mind before when watching the movie are mostly answered in the novel. However, as I read, I realized that there are a numbers of differences between the novel and the movie but the actual storyline or plot is still there. It is just that how the storyline and plot is delivered in the movie of 2 hours which you cannot tell every single thing in the movie. The differences/changes, add-ins and omissions can be found at this link.

During the reading, I would smile to myself due to the conversations between Edward and Bella. It is like I am there with them. I will feel the sweetness of Edward's smiles or actions to Bella. Stephanie Meyer did a very good job in bring both of the characters alive like what I feel during reading. Thanks God that she keeps insisting the productions of the novel. Else, I would not be able to admire her work on these two (2) special characters. Maybe another reason make me feel so alive with the character is that I keep visualizing the movie version while reading as well as listening to the soundtrack.

There is a colleague of mine shared with me that I should read the novel first before I watch the movie so that I can understand better when watching the movie. Maybe he is right as I mentioned earlier, I realized that there are some differences between the movie and the novel and I have a number of questions in my mind after watching the movie which only found in the novel.

I think I will try that with the second novel of The Twilight Saga, New Moon. Hopefully I am able to finish the novel before the movie premiere. However, I already know more the less what New Moon is about as I watch the New Moon movie trailer as well as read the novel synopsis. Nevertheless, I will start to read the New Moon novel tonight.

New Moon novel, here I come!

All Women in A Lift

Coincidentally this morning, the lift I am taking down to the basement car park are all women only. Floor by floor the lift stop and the person who join in the crowd in the lift is all women!

Then, I been thinking, "Could it be a sign to something?". No answer or debate within my mind. But another question pop-up, "Of all these women, how many of them know about Breast Cancer Awareness Month? How deep is their knowledge to this issue?".

I think I know why my mind ask the above questions. I can observe that none of them wear anything pink (except my sister-in-law) not to mention the pink ribbon (except me, whereby I pinned to my backpack). I really wish that every woman in this world have a bit of knowledge on breast cancer and how the little thing that we do can prevent it.

Twilight Saga Novels Acquired!

As Ken knows my dissapointment, he accompanies me to Borders at The Curve when we went to Tesco to buy some groceries as usual to try my luck. The information staff did not call me if there is any copy found in other branches.

I asked the cashier again for the paperback collection knowing that it would be a dissapointment but still hope for it eagerly that it is available. He checked with the store again to confirm before returning to us to give us the dissapointment reply. I asked if Borders will replenish the paperback collection. He replied there are possibility as this novel is very popular. He knows the popularity of the novel - not bad and I am impressed with his answer.

He suggests the hardcover in his hand which cost RM358. I tell him that I will consider about it. Then, I discussed with Ken which he suggested me to take the loose copy. He joked that he would make the box for me. *sweet* Then, he calculated to me on the comparison on the hardcopy collection versus the loose copy understading me that I have intention to purchase the hardcopy collection. Finally, I gave up the hardcopy collection and go for the loose copy weighting between my budget and my urge to read the novels especially on the next happenning.

Of course the loose copy are cheaper compare to the box collection - RM166.80 (loose copy - four titles) versus RM188 (paperback box collection). Furthermore, I get 15% discount from Jusco/Aeon memebership card promotion. In the end, I saved RM25.04 from RM166.80 or total of RM46.24 if I was to purchase the paperback box collection at RM188. Not a bad deal after all! :P

The most important is that I finally acquired the Twilight Saga novels!

Dissapointment : Twilight Saga Paperback Box Collection SOLD OUT!

I taken half day leave as Ken and my father-in-law came down to sign some papers for the lorry purchase. I take half day leave so that I can follow them back to Slim River for tomorrow Mid-Autumn festival celebration.

Ken knows that I will be bored doing nothing back in hometown and he promised to buy Twilight Saga collection for me which I been nagging. So, he drops me at The Curve before headed back to hometown to purchase the collection.

I make a quick run to the Borders once I get out from the car while Ken and my father-in-law waited in the car beside the road. I straight to the First floor cashier counter to ask for the collection but there are all hardcover collections left! Somehow, he is kind enough to check for me if there is any stock at the store.

However, to my dissapointment, she told me that all the paperback collection has been sold out. I asked if there is any stock in other branches. She said there are possibility and suggested me to leave my number while she tried to check. I did as suggested as there is a only hope I got.

In dissapointment, I walks back to the car and ride back to hometown. :(

Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October

Today is the start of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In my opinion, every women should knows about breast cancer at anytime, not just this month as early detection really saves life and make suffering lesser. Once you aware about breast cancer facts, you will feel better and appreciate more on the things and people around you.

What do I do to support this campaign? I do my own card and pink ribbon as suggested in Cleo October 2009 issue on page 201 under "Get Involved!" header! I get creative by doing my own pink oval card and attached a pink ribbon onto it. I have written "Think Pink" as initiated by Cleo's "Think Pink Project" at the bottom of the pink ribbon. At the reverse side on the card, I written "In Support to Breast Cancer Awareness Month October 2009" in pink before signing off with my name with another pink shaded of pen.

Self-made Breast Cancer Awareness Month card - Front

Self-made Breast Cancer Awareness Month card with message -Back

Today, I distributed almost 40 plus cards to various female colleagues in my floor and they are happy to receive it. I am happy to see their smiling face when received my handmade card but there is a slight sadness in my heart as some of them asked, "What is this?". It seems like they do not recognize what the pink ribbon represent! All I could do is ask them to flip over the card and read the message which in return gives me a doubt. If I did not input the message, do I really need to explain to them what pink ribbon represent or are they just simply really do not know what pink ribbon represent or it is the pink ribbon campaign initiated by Estee Lauder not that successful? I am wondering.

Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign logo and slogan

Anyhow, to those who wanted to do something to support this campaign, you can get some ideas from Cleo October 2009 issue on page 200 to 202. There is walk, run, talks, road shows and dance that you can participate in. Else, you may look under the "Get Involved!" header to do something else. I done point two, "Get Creative" and I strongly recommend point five, "Pink Out!" whereby they suggested to wear a pink item everyday!

Poh Ling's Farewell Party

After weeks of on and off preparation, finally the farewell party is on.

No doubt Poh Ling is shocked and surprised on the farewell party that dedicated to her. She really did not expect this farewell party as she is not really leaving the company but merely change of department and floor, reporting manager, jobscope and employment status. Actually we still can see her in the company and catch her for lunch.

Thus, there is a small debate by certain parties if the farewell party is really neccessary or can we do it in early October instead. For me and the team, the farewell party is indeed needed and neccessary because Poh Ling really work very hard, harder that anyone in the team to close the deals. Due to that, she was admitted to hospital few months back as she suddenly vomitted blood in the toilet. It was her ulser in the stomach that caused the blood vomitting. We sometime do joke about it as there is a Chinese proverb saying, "Work till vomit blood" and that is what happening to her. We purposely choose today, 30 September 2009 as the farewell party as Poh Ling is reporting to new role tomorrow, 01 October 2009. Somehow, someone insisted very much to postpone it to early October. For me and the team, what is the meaning of the farewell if it is done after the person is gone from the department or team? Furthermore, Poh Ling will be very busy as she is taking over someone else role. No matter how, the winning is with us, we managed to get the approriate approvals to have it today.

Back to the situation of the farewell party. After I thanks her on behalf of the department on the two (2) years of services, Poh Ling give a short speech expressing her feeling and expression during her two (2) years services in the department. She said that she learned a lot and thanks everyone for their guidance and assistance during her services. Then, Bakar handle over Poh Ling's farewell "goodies" bag to her.

Then, the feast started while Poh Ling keeps asking everyone what's in the "goodies" bag. Everyone keeps quite and just tell her to open the presents by herself. She is really excited over the events. Others are eyeing on the foods especially Wendy's "All-People-Like" bakery this time is cupcakes with chocolate, strawberry and blueberry as favours. Aside from Wendy's "All-People-Like" bakery, we have fried mihoon, curry chicken, potatoes wedges, mix fruits and Malay (Hari Raya) kuih-muih and packs of potato chips.

Before the feast really started, Bakar called for the group photo. Everyone who is in the farewell party tooks there position and "cheese" for the camera. Poh Ling is very busy after that even barely have the time to eat so am I as I am her photographer! She tooks individual photo with few colleagues before finally managed to pull out the sentimental "messages and wishes book" scrap by me which full of messages and wishes from the "goodies" bag.

Photos of Poh Ling's farewell

She tries to read the messages and wishes but on and off there is someone who wanted to take individual photo with her. Eventually the sentimental "messages and wishes book" becomes the "signboard" in every photos. She really excited during the whole party.

Both of us finally managed to sit down after a session of photographing and the people started to move away from the party as they are full with foods. What left for us is some curry with one or two pieces of chicken whereby I did order the whole chicken! *sigh* Luckily the Wendy's "All-People-Like" cupcakes are still available. I managed to eat one chocolate and strawberry cupcakes while Poh Ling ate one strawberry cupcake as she complainted it is very filing. The last one that we not managed to eat, she passed to Aniza who is busy with her work earlier preventing her to attend the party.

As she was excited over the presents in the "goodies" bag, she decided to open the presents not even finishing her fried mihoon. She keeps complaining why I wrap in such a difficult way for her to open the present as she do not want to tear the beautiful wrapper. At last, she tears the wrapper due to her anxiousness knowing what it is. Poh Ling is in shocked to know that it is a WD 320GB external harddisk as her first present! She said that she did not expect this and she knows it must cost us a big chunk. I keeps ensure her that we managed to get the funds and ask her do not worry much as this is what she really deserves.

She continues to unwrap the second presents and she is in shocked again to know that it is a pouch for her WD 320GB external harddisk! Then, the third present, she is so happy to know that it is a wireless mouse. The fourth present is a 4GB Kingston thumb drive given by All Media.

Everyone also thanked me for organizing this farewell party. I as the organizer is happy to know that everyone enjoyed the party especially Poh Ling. This is a satisfaction being a organizer whereby you know everyone is enjoying the party. All the previous hardworks, secret discussion and hiding of the scrapbook during the messages and wishes writing was worthy especially on scrapbook making.

Everyone compliment on the creative works I put on the scrapbook eventhough to tell the truth, I am first time doing this scrapbook. In fact, I am not really 100% satisfy with this scrapbook especially the side binding. I feel like I can do better and more creatively. Perhaps I just put a very high expectation on it or it is really just a normal stuff of scrapbook?

My first scrapbook for Poh Ling's farewell

New Discovery : Twilight Saga Collections

We went to Tropicana Mall today since we been talking about it for the past few months or since its opening. Ken is looking for something as well. Since there is Borders in the mall, I suggested to drop by to it rather than going to The Curve. Ken agreed.

To my surprise, the Borders in Tropicana Mall is quite small compare to The Curve - just one floor - normal sized shop lot space. Nevertheless, I still looks around for the table/area dedicated to the Twilight Saga display but none. So, I asks the information staff and she pointed me to the front racks.

Well, it is just two rows dedicated to Twilight Saga mainly due the outlet limited spaces. The box collection is obviously not there. So, I turned to cashier counter as I know they might keep it there but there is none. I decided to ask the cashier but there are people paying money, so I waited.

Then, I found out that the cashier is asking the customer for Jusco/Aeon membership card which he informs there is discount. I looks at the display board beside me and I found there is a notice on Jusco/Aeon membership card promotion. It is up to 15% discount for English books purchases! I quickily acknowledges Ken and he informs we will go to The Curve next week to purchase.

Luckily I did not buy the collection last week. Like I said before, even 15% discount is not that significant but in my situation now, 15% discount is very much a saving to me compare to 10% discount earlier!

I cannot wait to take you home, Twilight Saga! Wait for me!

A Beautiful & Valuable Story

A Swami was having a conversation with Lord Shiva one day and said,

"Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like."

Lord Shiva led the Swami to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the Swami looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In
the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the Swami's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The Swami shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. Lord Shiva said,

"You have seen Hell."

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The Swami
said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple," said Lord Shiva.

"It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."

When Lord Shiva created the world, He was thinking of you.

P/S : Please remember that I will always share my spoon with you and wishing you in good health!

Twilight Saga Collections at Borders The Curve

Ken and I decided to hang around in the shopping mall since Ezel is not around with us and it is second day of Hari Raya Puasa tomorrow - still time for rest and relax. Sometimes we do feel we want to have some couple moments like old days. So, this it is.

I voiced out to Ken earlier on my discovery in Popular bookstore last Tuesday on the Twilight Saga collection. He said he would buy for me next month but I said I save up on my own to buy but he insisting on sponsoring my saving and I let him. I am really lucky to have him support me in being a fan of Twilight Saga which not many guys will do the same either mentally or physically.

When park at Tesco as usual as we will buy some groceries later on. After parking our car, we went for a drink before heading to Borders to check the price as I went to both Popular and MPH. The Twilight Saga box collection is at RM188 nett. So, I decided to try my luck at Borders since we have time.

It is the first time I steps into Borders. We went in at the Ground floor and there are a table/area dedicated to the Twilight Saga display - same as Popular bookstore. The four books are there excepts the box collection. So, I decided to ask the information counter staff. Upon reaching the counter, I saw the box collection and asked the staff to show me. She did but it hardcover instead of paperback which cost about RM358. The staff perhaps sensed my surprise on the pricing and told me that there is a paperback collection at the First floor.

So, we went to the First floor as directed and go to the information counter again. The staff showed me the same hardcover collection but I asked for the paperback. She directed me to ask the cashier counter instead. Finally, there is the paperback collection which worth RM188 nett. The information staff was nice enough to share that if I am a HSBC credit card holder, I am eligible to get 10% discount! I am so happy to hear that but unfortunately, I did not bring my HSBC credit card!

Ken comforts me that we will come back next week to purchase instead. I agreed and I gave back the collection to the staff. Even 10% discount is not that significant but in my situation now, 10% discount is very much a saving to me. Later I learned from the display board that the 10% discount is eligible if purchases was above RM100 which I am totally eligible as the collection worth RM188.

Wait for me Twilight Saga, I will get your home soon!

I am REALLY Obsess with Twilight!!!

I went to the Popular bookstore in 1 Utama during lunch today as the week before, I realized that the CD Rama put up a big poster of Twilight when I went in to window shopping. Because of that poster, that is the reason that I chosen Twilight to watch on last Sunday.

Well, the actual reason I went to Popular bookstore today is because I wanted to look for the Twilight Saga series novel since they put a big poster at the display glass. However, when I approach the store, I saw the Twilight poster is meant for the DVD and soundtrack release. Somehow, I still walk into the store and have a look on the soundtrack but failed to locate any.

Then, I continue to my initial thought and moved to the novel section and keep my eyes open in case there is a promotion going on. Indeed, there is. I am so happy and excited. I rushed to the area dedicated to the Twilight Saga display. The four books are there and I took each of them to have look and of course eyeing on the price. It is a bit pricey but I think it is worth the money. Then, I realized that there is a Twilight Saga Collection which contains the four novels in a box! The price is definately pricey for me to afford right now which is RM188.

Back in office, I try to survey the price thru online store and try to check on the collection - comments and photos. It is really nice and definately on my top list of the items "I Must Have It". Just when I will have it is the question. *Sigh*

Later at night, I read the draft copy of Midnight Moon which I downloaded from StephenieMeyer.com last Sunday. Since it is telling from Edward's viewpoint, I cannot help myself but to watch Twilight again to see if that is true! I am really cannot control myself even I tried to. It is like Edward trying to control himself not to kill Bella or any other humans.

I think when The Twilight Saga : New Moon is released and I watch it, perhaps it could relief some of my thirst or the other way round - thirst for more?

Twilight

Oh my God! I am really obsesses with Twilight. I am watching the movie again despite that I already watched the movie 1.5 times yesterday.

The movie is really something new. I like it very much. I am not sure if I am attracted to Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) charm despite that Robert Pattinson played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix which I did not realize until I look-up for it. Both of the characters that he played really totally different and he did a great work in Twilight. Perhaps I am also attracted to Bella Swan (Kristen Steward) foolishness. Same as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Steward did a great work in playing Bella Swan character compare to Lisa in Zathura: A Space Adventure.

Well, I am also kind of fond to the story of the forbidden of love that stand in between them - the love between a human and a vampire. There is no movie potrait this kind of love eventhough in Underworld both the characters, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) also have the same similiarity but with Twilight, it is different.

Nevertheless, I really like this movie. I cannot wait for the next series espisode, The Twilight Saga : New Moon to release on 20 November 2009!

I am considering buying the whole Twilight Saga series books written by Stephenie Meyer! I am this obsess, man!

My Time Up?

A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience.

Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?"

God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.

After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"

God replied, "I didn't recognize you."

40 Years of Marriage

A married couple in their early 60s was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.

She said, "For being such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."

The wife answered, "Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband."

The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.

The husband thought for a moment: 'Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."

The wife and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish. So the fairy waved her magic wand and poof!....the husband became 92 years old!

The moral of this story: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female.

Keep Laughing With Open Mind!

Q: What is the similarity between men and rats?
A: Both keep searching for new holes.

Q: What is the closest thing similar to a woman's period?
A: Your salary, it comes once a month lasts about 5 days and if it doesn't come, it means you are in big trouble.

Q: What's the difference between biology and sociology?
A: When the baby looks like his dad or mom, then it is biology. When the baby looks like the neighbour, then it is sociology.

Doctor: You look so weak and exhausted. Are you having 3 meals a day as I have advised?
Lady: Doctor, I thought you said 3 males a day....

Q: Girlfriend and boyfriend go for a movie. In the dark, a mosquito enters the girl's skirt. Guess where it would have bitten?!!!
A: The boy friend's hand.

Tarzan and the animals went to the river to take a bath. Tarzan removed his clothes. All the animals laughed at Tarzan. Tarzan asked "Why"? The animals told him "Your tail is in front".

Dance Indeed Can Be a Teaching Tool - Inspired by Love N Dancing

My continual question in my previous post, "Can Dancing be a Teaching Tool?" has been answered in Love N Dancing movie which I watched last night.

The Synopsis
The movie is about a deaf dancing teacher, Jake Mitchell, who was in past is a twice World Swing Dance Championship. He gave up dancing about seven (7) years ago due to the unfaithful relationship his partner done to him. He then become a dance teacher as well as motivational speaker who travel around the country to speak to the student on his disability that did not stop him of being a dancer once. On the other hand, Jessica Donovan is a English teacher for disinterested, upper class middle school kids who has a dreams of Broadway when she was a young dancer. Her life is boring as she had a fiance, Kent who is work-a-holic, who she claims that he is having an affair with his work and cares more about making money rather than making her happy. Both Jake and Jessica met a school assembly whereby Jessica is attracted to him due to his dance performance with his former partner, Corinne. Jessica enrolled herself and Kent into Jake's private class for their wedding. As Kent is more concern about making money, he did not turn up of any of the classes leaving Jessica alone. Both Jake and Jessica connection gets better and Jake have the feeling of competing again. Jake asks Jessica if she would like to be his partner and Jessica agrees. Both of them train hard and Jessica finally realize that dancing actually make her happy and she groomed well. She looks more beautiful, confident and elegant! Finally, she broke up with Kent. Both Jake and herself finally got together when Jake expressed his love for her before the start of the competition.

From the movie, my question is well answered and proven. As mentioned in the previous post, "Can Dancing be a Teaching Tool?", a guy can learn how to touch a girl in a respectable way. While in Love 'N Dancing, a gal can learn how to be beautiful, confident, elegant and be respectful from the way they walk, talk and touch. All these can be learned through dancing.

Dance is indeed can be a teaching tool not to mention the arts and history behinds it. Every dance has it arts value, for example, the Flamenco dance originate from Spanish is to express deep feelings and show-off the dancer spirit. The dance helps people to express themselves in another way that we normally does.

I really need and like to enrol Ezel to dance classes when she is older as she likes to dance. I really hopes that she can learn something from her favourite activity. I passed my time to do such. Thus, I hope I can do something for Ezel's benefits and goods.

Amazing Reply by A Reputation Investment Bank CEO to a Self-Claimed Pretty Girl

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum :

Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to sa
y here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York .

My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden, $250k annual income is not enough. I

'm here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I've met a few girls who doesn't have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and w ho can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

Amazing reply:

Dear Ms. Pretty, I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here.! From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you.. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of 'beauty' and 'money': Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later. By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a 'trading position'. If the! trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or 'leased'. Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool. Hope this reply helps ... World Environment Day

What have you done to contribute to the environment? Not sure? Take a look at WWF website to learn more how we can help and do in order to preserve environment at its best condition.

As for me, I am trying to use less plastic bags by using recycling bags during groceries shopping at hypermarkets. Aside from reducing plastic bags usage, I am able to collect some points as well. It is killing two (2) birds with a stone. How about you?

Please do your part to contribute to a better environment. The planet is for our generation(s) to live on.

Christian Dior Spring 2009 Tribal Heels Collection

I saw this shoes/heels in May 2009 Cleo magazine and instantly I like it very much as I find it very cute and unique. Do not misinterpret me as I like it as in picture not owning it. By the way, I do not have that effort to own it anyway - I bet it is way to expensive for me to afford them.
In anyway, if I did own it, I do not think I will wear it as I find it too fragile. I do not think the heels itself manage to cope with my weight as it is too thin and slim. Just enough for my admiral.

Usually I am not into shoes fashion but these Christian Dior Spring 2009 Tribal Heels Collection really caught my eyes.

International Nurses Day

The nurse profession may seem a little low profile but in some countries, the nurses are very much high profile profession. In anyway, it is depends on individual opinion to view this profession profile.

For me, nurse profession is very great and mighty job yet dangerous due to their expose to the various diseases and viruses which put their life in dangerous position especially now with the A(H1N1) Flu. Although they been given all the necessary protection, their life is still in danger.

Thus, I am taking today's opportunity to express my thanks and appreciation to them even though they fully understand that their job is dangerous. Especially to you, Jedi!

Happy Nurses Day! May God bless you all.
