Mixed Vegetable Platter

I learned this dish from Healthy Baby Meal Planner : How to give you baby the best of health and vitality by Sara Lewis.

This dish is for babies aged between six and six-and -a-half months. Somehow, I still plans to cook this dish for Ezel as she started her weaning on solid quite late and much of her early weaning are cereals like rice, oats, wheat and etc.

Ingrediates - makes 600ml/1 pint
115g/4oz carrot
175g/6oz potato
115g/4oz broccoli
50g/2oz green cabbage
300ml/half pint formula milk

I followed the above recipes and instructions in the book to cook and it turned out as shown in the book.

I gave Ezel to try and she likes it. :)

Carrot and Fish Porridge

Today I cook new favour for Ezel.

That is carrot and fish porridge. As her Po Po say that fish is good for her, I cook her this dish. I cook it overnight using the slow cooker.

The next morning, I feed Ezel and she seems likes it quite well. :)

"Coconut Tree"

Today I tied Ezel hair up using a small shark clip since her hairs starts to block her eye sight. It ended up looks like a coconut tree according to Ken. He keeps teasing me and Ezel that the hair style looks like a coconut tree. He is laughing all the way looking at Ezel.

Ezel hairs are still little but grown long. So, the only hair style I can tie is grab all the hairs into the top centre of her head and secure it with a clip. I cannot do a ponytail for her as her hairs are not that long and much.

However, after tieing up her hair, she looks more girlish and cuter. Just look at her!

Funny face with the "coconut tree" hairstyle

Am I cute and looks more girlish?

Darling, just bare with it as for the moment till you hair grown long, OK? Mummy will style your hairs when they are longer.

Little Darling is on Flu.......... :(

My poor little darling is on flu. :(

She is having difficulity in breathing and she really having trouble. I really hope that I can suffer what she suffered now on behalf of her. My heart really ache seeing her like this.

By the way, I am on flu myself as Ezel has passed on the virus to me. :P Both of us went to the same doctor on the same time.

She really looks weak and no mood after taking the drowsy medicine and all she can do is sleep. But she do not sleep well as the blockage in her nose make her difficult in breathing.

Poor little darling..........

She Can Sit

Ezel is able to sit by her own but she prefer kneeling more as she cannot really move her legs into sitting position. Thus, she likes to knee more compare to sit.

We can put her to sit on high chair and baby chair in restaurants without afraid that she will fall off. She knows how to safe guard herself by holding the bar to keep her in unsupported sit position. What a remarkable thing is that she even can sit on the supermarket's trolley and holding still to the bar in front of it.

However, like others babies, she never sit still, she will use one of her hands to grab things in front of her or at her side whenever we park the trolley beside those bulks groceries. Guess we have to educate her on some manners. She enjoys the moments we go shopping for groceries as she can see many people and things around her.

As I observed, she is such a adorable and cute baby yet friendly as she likes to smile to whoever who smile or play with her. Will she grown up to be a people's choice princess such as Ms. Universe? :P

:) Still early to dream that, Mummy!

Ezel, Mummy and Daddy will always love you!
