My Craft Wish List - Hero Arts Stamps

I just loves Hero Arts stamps despite there are other brands.

I been spotting the cupcakes stamps they offered. There are many choices with different sizes and of course pricing. As value for money and usage, I been deciding which one to buy so that I can have different and maximize the usage of it. I have to do some weighing between money and usage so that I really buy something that really useful as money is a very key point here due to the exchange rate and of course my personal financial issue.

In total, there are eight (8) similar design of cupcakes stamps by Hero Arts.

CG157 Large Cupcakes

The first one is CG157 Large Cupcakes. It is really large and it is a cling stamp which cost between RM75++ to RM89++. Although it is large but I do not have much variety to play with. Conclusion : one design or usage; keep in view.

CG151 Happy Birthday Cupcakes

Thus, I opt for CG151 Happy Birthday Cupcakes which consists of two (2) different design of cupcakes and a bubble "Happy Birthday to You" message. The cupcakes are quite large as well (not as large as CG157 though) and it is a cling stamp which cost between RM59++ to RM79++. Although I have two (2) different design of cupcakes and a bubble "Happy Birthday to You" message, it still cannot give me a variety of idea except sticking to birthday wishes. Conclusion : worth for money but limited to birthday wishes; keep in view.

CG110 Cupcakes

There is another cling stamp with cupcakes is CG110 Cupcakes which the whole piece is cupcakes as design. This design can use as background as well as cut of the small cupcakes to be use individually. However, it will be a bit tedious to do so as the image is not that large. It cost around RM59++ to RM79++. Conclusion : not much usage except for birthday wishes or party and background which is very rare in occasion; keep in view.

From the above conclusion, I think I better look for other option - clear stamps that comes with more than at least five (5) designs in a 4"x6" sheet which cost between RM72++ to RM79++.

CL277 Birthday Frame And Messages

The first option is CL277 Birthday Frame And Messages that comes with four (4) different framed birthday messages. There are party hat, cupcakes, cake and a slice of cake with different birthday messages. Judging from the design, it can provides me with a number of ideas as the party hat, cupcakes, cake and a slice of cake images can be re-use with other occasions (separate usage as intended). Not a bad option on this set. Conclusion : worth for money with a number of usage; keep in view.

CL390 Decorate Your Own Cake

The next is the CL390 Decorate Your Own Cake. As the title suggest, this stamp come with a big cake frame with candles on top and four (4) horizontal cake's decoration and two (2) birthday messages. Yes, you may have the option to customize the cake decoration every time you make a birthday wishes card but it is limited to that only. You cannot make other occasion card using this stamp. Conclusion : Rejected due to its limitation of usage.

CL382 Wonderful Birthday

The next choice is CL382 Wonderful Birthday which is quite attractive. This is because it come with a cupcake (which I longed to have), a birthday day with message "Happy Birthday" on top, a birthday balloon, a balloon with stars, a bird with hat and some birthday messages. There are variety of mix-and-match ideas with this set of stamp. I can use the cupcake and cake in different occasion (such as wedding wishes), the bird in another occasion (if needed, can trim off the hat), the balloon with stars can be used in somewhere else. Definitely a good choice! Conclusion : Recommended.

CL158 Cupcakes

Another 4"x6" stamp is CL158 Cupcakes which comes with nothing but six (6) cupcakes. There are two (2) medium cupcakes (with one design same as CL382 Wonderful Birthday cupcake but minus the candle and slightly bigger) and four (4) medium small cupcakes. Then, it comes with a birthday message ("Happy Birthday") and four (4) non-so-birthday related messages. What best is that there is standalone candle, cherry and rose decoration which can be simply add-on to the cupcakes! Conclusion : Recommended but usage is not as much as CL382 Wonderful Birthday as it is only limited to cupcakes.

CL168 Cupcakes

There is another smaller size set, 2"x3" which cost around RM25++ to RM35++. There is only one set that come with cupcake in this size, CL168 Cupcakes. It consists of one medium cupcake and a small cupcake. The messages are very generic, not birthday related and come with three (3) decorations. This size also comes with 10 gemstones which can be easily purchase separately. The prices is a bit high partly due to the gemstones. Conclusion : Recommended but usage is limited to cupcakes as in CL158 Cupcakes and not very worthy for money.

Thus, my final conclusion or wish list should be :

1) CL382 Wonderful Birthday (if I get this, the rest of the list can be drop until I have some extra money)
2) CL158 Cupcakes
3) CL168 Cupcakes
4) CG151 Happy Birthday Cupcakes
5) CG157 Large Cupcakes

Well, since the wish list has been confirmed, I need to work on my saving (guess that will be a quite some time due to my current financial condition) and I hope the shop have CL382 Wonderful Birthday! I see CG151 Happy Birthday Cupcakes, CG157 Large Cupcakes and CG110 Cupcakes in that shop but not sure about other sets I want as above.
