From The Star : Baby comes early – to avoid Hungry Ghosts

Does this really necessary? If every parent is to do the same, what about natural birth and natural cause? Do they aware by doing so it is ignoring the fate of the babies and act of God? Not to mention in the first place it will probably cause the baby life if something bad happened. If not death, it will perhaps (and touch wood) have some illness if born early.

I still remember when I gave birth to my daughter prematurely. By the way, she came naturally even the gynecologist and myself tried to delay my daughter birth as he afraid that she will have difficulties. But my little Ezel just would not want to stay in my tummy for another month and she wanted to see me and her daddy so much. She is very good girl that she come naturally without giving me hard time (except for the pain). I am so worried that she is (touch wood) have defect or illness due to early labour. But thank God, she is well and fine.

Reading the news above, I just could not believe that some parents are so superstitious until willing to risk their baby life and health. I wonder if something bad happen to their baby, who are they going to blame - themselves, gynecologist or God? It is their decision to force the gynecologist to gave birth to the baby early and it is against the act of God.

Well, I guess planning is the best solution to all this crap. If anyone want to avoid some unlucky dates or months, please consult the gynecologist before having a baby. Please consider the baby's health and his/her future as well as fate.
